About

Marked with humble beginnings in 1994 in a small residential building with only 8 students and 3 teachers, it now operates from a large building on 1.5 acres with over 1800 students and 101 teachers. Located in a quiet alcove of Faridabad District, 15 km from New Delhi, and just 2 km from the lush environs of the Aravali hills, it has experienced a tremendous growth in the past 24 years since its inception.

Jiva Public School (a K-12 institution) is affiliated to the Council for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (CISCE), which is one of the most successful educational boards in the country and is duly recognised by the Department of Education, Govt. of NCT Delhi and the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

It is no secret that Indian society places an inordinate amount of pressure on students to excel in examinations often at the expense of learners’ aptitude and individual development. JPS, however, has managed to strike a balance that has proven that it is possible for learners to score well on board examinations, while also developing a diverse set of skills. Noteworthy in this regard is our consistent achievement of 100 per cent result in the X and XII Board examination over the years, which just goes to show our firm commitment and resolve for excellence.

Constructivism, Team Work, Integrity, Innovation and Cooperative Learning—these are the hallmark of the way of life at JPS. Although education is an ongoing process, it must develop from concrete and value-based principles to ensure a firm foundation.  JPS aims to instill in its students a love of learning together with a keen desire to excel at every level with a view to hone their personality and bring out the best out of them. The social and moral values, which are ingrained within its versatile and well-balanced curriculum, help to promote confidence, purpose and critical thinking, besides promoting the development of adaptable and integrated personalities. A comprehensive and holistic education is what JPS offers to its students.
