Bharat Raksha Parva Organised at Jiva

The school had fecilitated a Defence Fest, in honour of the Soldiers posted on the borders of the country. To express patriotic fervour and gratitude, this fest was conducted in school premises and graced by the presence of Major General Shri S.K. Dutta and Chief Bureau of Dainik Jagran Shri Sushil Bhatia, Brand Ambassdor Shri Ajay Yadav, Reporter Anil Betab and Haryana Chief Bureau Shri Brijendra Bansal. This fest was organised by Dainik Jagran and entitled Bharat Raksha Parva, to highlight the significance of sisters silken tassels tied on the wrists of brothers, to save and protect her. Similarly the soldiers at our borders keep us safe and protected. The objective of this fest was to gift them self-made Rakhi’s by the students. The festival of rakhi is symbolic of love and duty like our soldiers who always remain alert and dutibound. These soldiers remain dutibound and never fecilitate any festival of joy with their family or friends.

On the occasion Monica Arora class IX recited a poem in honour of these soldiers expressing a strong bond of love and gratitude towards these valiant soldiers. Dainik Jagran has initiated this move to remind us of the great sacrifice of these soldiers at the border. The occasion was addressed by Major General Shri S.K. Dutta, who apprised the students about the soldiers dedication to their duty and the country. The Haryana Bureau Chief stated that Jiva school emphasises on discipline, culture and moral values, which is a precept for others. He also expressed his gratitude towards the soldiers.
