Charity in Slum Areas via India in Action Program
Jiva Public School empathizes with the less privileged in society and humbly endeavours to contribute to share joy and assist them to love with respect and dignity. Under the on going programme India in Action the teachers and students share their efforts to work for their well-being in society. In collaboration with the Rotary Inter-Act Club the teachers and students organised Blood Donation Camp, and many other such campaigns for society welfare. Despite their own hectic schedule they keep in mind the progress and prosperity of the society and work unrelentlessly and tirelessly.
Keeping the objective in mind the faculty of our school visited the slums in Patel Nagar at Ballabhgarh on 28 May to share a few joyful moments with the less privileged there. This programme was conducted under the supervision of Chief member Shalini Murishwer of Aadi – The Beginning. The school had collected sarees to be distributed among those women of the slum who could not afford clothing for themselves. The school faculty believes that sharing joy is the highest form of charity and one should willingly be ever prepared for it.
