Didactic Message on Earth Day – Jivites India in Action Programme

The Jivites felicitated Earth Day differently, by moving out of the confines of the school boundary to convey the message of preserving the planet. 22 April is celebrated as the Earth Day across the globe. The Jivites, under the active India in Action programme went to BPTP Parkland Society to appeal the residents, to contribute, but little to sustain the environment that is the blood-life of all existence on earth. In the company and supervision of teachers the students were supported by the RWA President Shri Vivek Gupta and Sushant Gupta. The Rotary Interact club member students conveyed the message and even demonstrated the utility of waste plastic bottles. They cut the plastic bottles into attractive shapes and sizes to feed-the birds during summer season. They apprised the people that due to human negligence the species of birds are becoming extinct and thus reducing the self-growth of many fruit trees.

Apart from this, the students conducted a Body Type Test on the people present and advised them to have meals accordingly to maintain sound health.
