Janmashtmi Celebrated Traditionally at Jiva

The festival of Janamastmi was fecilitated in school with great aplomb. During the morning assembly a tableau of Lord Krishna’s activities was presented. The programme commenced with the Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan, Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan, Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam and Coordinators offering puja at the altar of Lord Krishna followed by prasad distribution. A few students sang rhythmically hymn in praise of Lord Krishna. It is a unique feature of our school to celebrate each festival traditionally, so that the students keep up and remain connected to the traditions and culture of our country.

The programme continued with a dance drama, depicting the spiritual love of Radha and Krishna. It conveyed the message that the Supreme Lord bestows, love and blessings on His true and sincere worshippers. Thereafter the Kindergarten toddlers, in various colourful costumes staged a dance and kept the viewers mesmerised. The students represented different kalas and powers of Lord Krishna.

The Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan in his address stated that India is a pious land where many super Human Powers reincarnated to add piety to the country. Across the globe, India is considered the most pious cultural land, so to keep up the purity of our country, every student should follow Dincharya Ke Niyam, Swadhyay and work for the welfare of society.
