It was an extremely glorious moment for Jiva Public School when its Chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan was conferred with the National Education Excellence Award on 27th Feb.2019 at the 30th Conference of National Education &Human Resource Development Organization held in Mumbai at Hotel Kohinoor Continental, Andheri East, Mumbai.
This Award appropriately acknowledges the unprecedented dedication, zeal, vision and striving endeavors of Shri Chauhan in shaping what the school stands to date. Mr. Chauhan was personally honoured with a Certificate of Honour and the other for the school.
This Conference was attended by a chain of dignitaries and honorable guests, Dr. Damodar Khadse Ex. Chairman Maharashtra Rajya Sahitya Academy Mumbai, Mr.Avinash Kumar Director of Hindi Directorate Dept. Of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. Of India New Delhi, Ms Sangeeta Chacko Head Corporate Communications Percept Ltd. Mumbai, Mr. Jayprakash Kamataki Director of Master Winayak Films Mumbai and many dignitaries.
This privileged moment was shared by the Jiva Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan with her benign presence.
Jivites Outshine at District Level Karate Competition
The female Jivite Contestants embedded a strong foothold in the field of karate and outshone with their remarkable performance. The Shotokon Karate Competition was organised at Mavi Modern Public school, Sanjay Enclave part I on 30th September. The girl contestants presented excellent skills and clinched Gold and Bronze respectively. The competition was participated by many renowned schools of the District. In the razor-edge competition two Jivites represented the school and both were honoured with a Gold and a Bronze for their performance in the Competition II. This competition was organised by Shotokon Karate Training Centre. The names of participating schools are Mavi Modern Public School, Modern B. P. School, Govt. Girls Senior Secondary – 22, Govt. School Sect – 8 and Modern Arya School. The MLA from NIT 86 Shri Nagendra Bhadana was the Chief Guest. The competition was won by Class VIII Aarti Chandila – Gold and Alia Gautam class III a Bronze.
On the occasion the chairman Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan stated that games and sports instill discipline among students as a good player learn the rules to discipline in the sports field. He congratulated Karate Coach Sachin and appreciated his efforts. The Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan apprised them about the importance of sports and games. The Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam congratulated the winners and wished them a very bright future.
Jiva Outshine with Exemplary Performance in Karate at District Level
It has always been the schools conscious endeavour for holistic development of pupils not only through academics but also in the sports field. The Karate Competition on July 29 was held at The ‘Gera Smriti Bhawan’ Market no. 2 wherein the Jiva participants were conferred with 4 Gold and 6 Silver Medals, bringing laurels to individual self and the school. The Jiva participants had an edge over other contestants with their exemplary performance and confidence. A total of 10 participants from class I to VIII had contested for the competition and each of the contestants was honoured with a Medal. Its a beaming pride for the school. Around 270 participants from renowned schools of the district had contested in Karate Competition.
The names of the participating schools are :- A.K.V. Global School Sikrona, St. John’s School Sainik Colony, Modern Arya School Suroorpur, Modern School sector 46, Dronacharya Public School sector 23A, Milestone school Village Saran and Jiva Public School Sector 21B. The recipients of Gold Medals are Swastika IV A, Vanshika V C, Anmol VI B, Arti Chandila VIII B. Silver Medal recipients are :- Pratham and Jayant Joshi II, Alia Gautam III A, Aditya Bist IV B, Tarun Mishra and Lakshay Class V. The recipients of gold medal will participate in state level competition at Kurukshetra from 3 August to 5 August.
Success Prides 100% Board Result at Jiva Public School
Success embarked with joy & revelry at Jiva premises on 14th May, when the council for Indian School Certificate Examination had declared the results for ISC & ICSE. It was a 100% result for a total of 124 students from class X and XII who had appeared for Board Examination this year. Our school is affiliated to CISCE and offering 3 streams namely Science, Commerce and Humanities. The ISC students in Science Stream crossed the previous years bench mark by scoring a whooping 96% in aggregate and Aayush Jaiswal 93% and stood IInd.
The ICSE topper in Science stream Himanshu Mittal scored 94.2%, Yashika Arora 92.5% and Yukti 90.4% respectively. In Commerce Stream Gaurav Bhatia and Tarushre scored 90 % respectively.

Jivite Himanshu Mittal Conferred Student of the Year Award by Times – NIE
Himanshu Mittal a class X student at Jiva Public School brought laurels on being conferred with the Student of the Year Award by Times of India NIE. This award is an annual event recognized by TOI – NIE and warmly welcomed by schools to nominate their outstanding young talents, with an illustrious track record of past two years in academic pursuits and all round skills with remarkable achievements in the domains of strong passions they possess.
Himanshu Mittal, with an excellent record in academics, is an active learner with independent and reflective thinking, positive values, initiative and creativity and commitment and leadership skills fulfilled the judgement parameters and clinched the most coveted award. Himanshu credited his achievement to Jiva philosophy of DKN, SOE and Swadhyay that shaped him.
The Police Commissionerate Haryana, had organized the last level of Road Safety Quiz Competition, at State Level at D.A.V. Police Public School in Ambala on 30 Jan. The contestants from Jiva Public School had an edge over others and clinched the First Position at State Level. This competition was participated by many Districts of the State. The chief objective of this competition was to apprise the students and create a conscious awareness towards traffic rules and remain bound to follow it. Every year the Police Commissionerate organizes such competition in all districts of the state and the school team who won the quiz was declared the winner.
The First Level of this competition had been organized at District Level and the school teams qualifying it were eligible for the second, third and fourth level of competition. The winners in all four level at District had qualified for the State Level Competition. Each school had a team of three contestants. The Jiva contestants could lead despite cut-edge competition and bag the First Position with their excellent performance.
This programme was graced by the presence of Shri Krishna Lal Pawar (Transport Ministry, Haryana) The school Principals and the staff were also awarded Trophy for their contribution in this competition and the winning students were awarded Dell Computers, trophies and certificates.
The school Chairperson Shri Rishi Pal Chauhan and Director Mrs. Chander Lata Chauhan congratulated the winners. Shri Chauhan stated that it is the foremost duty of all citizens to follow traffic rules and build a safe society. The school Principal Mrs. Devina Nigam also graced the occasion.
Jiva First in District in Road Safety Quiz Competition
The Police Commissionerate Faridabad had organized the Fourth Level of Road Safety Quiz Competition at Dynasty International School, wherein participants from many schools of the district had participated. This competition is organized by the police commissionerate every year and contestants from any school with the highest score are declared the winners. The contestants from Jiva Public School had an edge over other participants. For the Second Level competition the Jivites clinched the First and in the Third level, third position respectively.
In the First level, the Dynasty school bagged the First Position. In the Second level it was Jiva Public School and in the Third level St. Columbus School stood First. The contestants from all the three schools will now compete at State level. The DCP Virendra Viz IPS himself honoured the winners by awarding a Trophy and Certificates of Merit.
Jiva participants excelled in displaying their talent at Shri Ram Millenium School on 10 Dec and clinched the First Position in the Street Play. Shri Ram Millenium School had organized a competition Mad About Environment with an objective to preserve the detoriating environment. Many renowned schools from the district had participated in the competition entitled ‘Manushya Ki Den – Prithvi Ka Vinash’. A total of 15 Jivites contested for the competition and won laurels for their remarkable presentation.
