Frequently Asked Questions

The teaching methodology used at Jiva Public School combines modern educational techniques with ancient wisdom to provide a one-of-a-kind learning environment to our students. We introduce your child to traditional Indian value systems at an early age and empower them with the skills and attitude so that they can lead a successful life.

We follow the principles of,

Swadhyay – a unique technique of self reflection
Dincharya ke Niyam - importance of discipline in everyday life
Self, Others & Environment (SOE) - responsibility towards self, others and their surroundings.

We offer admissions for students in preschool (three years – Nursery, LKG and UKG) and senior classes. You must submit the Application Form online or at the school reception at Sec-21B, Faridabad. Our team will evaluate the application and invite your child for a test. We will also interview you to understand your child's inherent personality. After the parameters are met, your child will be enrolled at Jiva Public School.

At Jiva Public School, we ensure your child receives the personalised attention they deserve. We maintain a teacher-student ratio of 1:16 to help teachers effectively engage each child in the learning process without overwhelming themselves.

Jiva Public School is affiliated with the ICSE board.

While the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) are well-recognised boards in India, the difference lies in the approach to imparting knowledge and achieving learning goals.

SYLLABUS – CBSE primarily focuses on Science and Mathematics. On the other hand, the comprehensive learning modules of the ICSE Board pay equal attention to every subject stream, including Art, Language, Science, Mathematics, and even Humanities.

PEDAGOGY – While CBSE's quick-to-grab didactics build a strong foundation for competitive exams, ICSE has an application-based, detailed learning module that encourages students to apply the theoretical concepts in real life and gain a better understanding of a subject. In fact, ICSE lays great emphasis on project assignments in their schools, with 20% of marks allotted for internal assessments.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION – A school affiliated with the CBSE board doesn't have to impart education in a prescribed language. ICSE-affiliated schools like Jiva Public School must use English as a medium of instruction.

FUTURE PROSPECTS – Given that students of the ICSE board have a strong base in the English language from an early age, they have a greater probability of clearing international standard examinations like TOEFL, IELTS, etc. Your child will always have an advantage while competing for a foreign school or university.

GOALS – An ICSE-affiliated school ensures your child's overall development. Your child will demonstrate excellent academic performance and develop a magnificent personality at the same time.

Our students have been making us proud year after year with 100% results in board exams, both in classes X and XII.
