Q1: What are the advantages of the
ICSE Board followed by the school?
a. The students get an in-depth knowledge of all
subjects especially the languages. ICSE lays great
emphasis on English language. Its English curriculum is
far better than other boards with Shakespeare, Milton,
Shaw, Tennyson and Shelley forming in intrinsic part and
there is also a separate paper for English Language.
b. The students get a benefit of 5% as compared to
CBSE students during admission to competitive colleges.
c. It provides an option to choose the stream right
from class IX, which helps the students to be better
prepared for their future careers.
d. 20 marks out of 100 are based on the skills of
the students such as behaviour, interpersonal, creative

a. Jiva’s concept of activity based learning is way ahead
of the contemporary systems of education in India. We
teach the students to have a real life experience through
the learning acquired, think creatively and critically,
and then carry out experiments or implement their ideas to

We have varied resources Jiva Learning Kit, Career Master

JPS holds the distinction of being awarded for the first
documentary made by students to get awarded apart from
using the Internet and projectors for online activities

The school timings are from 8am-2pm throughout the year.

The admission process starts in September for the
Kindergarten wing and in October for Classes I to IX.

Admission to JPS is subject to an entrance test followed
